Taxes
I will not support any additional taxes on Maryland citizens. According to CNN Money, Maryland ranks 20th in overall state taxes. Marylanders are taxed above and beyond with Delegate Mary Ann Love and Pam Beidle voting for O’Malley’s $1.3 Billion tax hike. Millions of dollars of state spending continue to go to organizations that support illegal immigration. Simply put NO MORE TAXES.

Budget
I will not support continued increases in Maryland’s budget. We need to balance Maryland’s budget and make government more responsive to the taxpayers. State spending has increased nearly $2 Billion dollars in 4 years with no plan to balance the state’s budget. Too many “special” projects are incorporated into Maryland’s budget. It is about time we CUT WASTEFUL SPENDING in Maryland.

Protecting the Bay
Provide our sewage and water treatment plants with state of the art Pollution Controls eliminating the continued deposit of Nitrogen in the Chesapeake Bay thereby endangering precious plant and marine life. I will pursue innovative and nonpartisan solutions to restore the Bay and the wildlife that depends on it. PROTECT THE CHESAPEAKE BAY!

Illegal Immigration
There are many social and economic benefits of legal immigration. However, we have failed to stem the continued problem of illegal immigration. With no help from the federal government, I support our states right to defend itself from illegal immigration. I will work to prevent illegal immigrants from continuing to receive instate tuition breaks at our expense, to prevent public funds from going to support illegal immigration, and to close loop-holes that allow illegal immigrants to continue to obtain Maryland drivers licenses (A MAJOR PUBLIC SAFETY RISK).

2nd Amendment
Support legislation to protect Marylanders right to keep and bear arms. Maryland is one of only 12 states that severely restrict their citizen’s rights to keep and bear arms. Studies have shown that cities and states that restrict their citizen’s rights to protection do not increase their citizen’s safety. The court system has indicated that the states have no obligation to protect their citizens from crime. SHOULDN’T YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO PROTECT YOURSELF?

Abortion
Support legislation prohibiting any physician from performing an abortion on an unmarried minor without prior written consent from the minor’s legal guardians. Physicians are required to obtain parental consent before prescribing pain relievers to minors, why are they permitted to conduct a major medical procedure without it?
